Is anybody there?…

I’m not sure why, but lately I’ve had a renewed desire to blog.  Maybe it’s because I know the NSA is listening and want to give them something awful to read.  Maybe it’s because I’ve been learning more about Python, Linux servers, and other nerdy things and want to share my learning (I’m a big fan of good tutorials and tools, and have enjoyed writing a few myself).  Either way, I have no idea if anyone reads my blog anymore.  Doubtful, because with the death of Google Reader, I don’t know if anyone still follows the RSS feed, and I’m not exactly sure how to tell.  I do expect a good number of hits this coming week.  My post on how to find the MRH at BYU is my most read page.  Every fall and winter semester I get about 100 hits.  If you Google “byu mrh”, I’m number 4.  If you Google, “how to find mrh byu”, I’m #1.  Looking back, I should have titled it “Where is the MRH at BYU…” or something someone would actually Google.  But I’m getting off topic.

Anyway, I’m pretty sure that my wife might be my only reader, but I think I’m going to start blogging again.  I’ll be sure to tag the nerdy stuff so you non-nerds know which posts to skip.
